When I get a chance I will try to go into Mocha and see what I can come up with in that specific editor. Personally, I haven't used Mocha in this project, other than opening it, just to see if it would work when Sapphire advanced editor wouldn't. As for the tracks that began stopping the render at 10 seconds in every time, those tracks were just a detail enhancer as first effect, color fast as second and PIP effect as the last so that those first two wouldn't effect the background layers of the Picture in Picture. This was definitely a more tedious way of dealing with my Boris issue, but in the end it worked out for me. In total, including the initial first two tracks this sequence was 6 tracks, doing the export then linking the new bokeh file and dropping it in the timeline as the new base layer, I have five video tracks within the timeline, with a total of 42 effects in all. Once those were rendered I rendered the rest of the upper tracks and all worked fine for me doing that. So to get around that, I exported the base two Boris layers then imported that independent Pro Res or MXF file, disabled those first two initial tracks and rendered the next couple.

Though the fourth layer kept hanging on 10 seconds in of rendering. Considering the bokeh was the two base layers, I rendered those out and was even able to play the two or three higher tracks, without having system lag. I was finally able to get this project to render out, but I ended up rendering line by line from the bottom up. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, yesterday was a day of line by line troubleshooting with the Sapphire Bokeh side of Boris. When I reinstall, I'll try changing the setting they suggest, but I was wondering if anyone has found something else that has solved the issue for them, in case that doesn't work. I'm just not sure that's the issue becuase I've used Mocha Pro and Continuum for a couple of years now, and have never had to change this in the settings before. I haven't had a chance to try their suggestion yet. Under the System tab, look for the “Maximum threads per thread-pool” option and turn it on.If you can launch Mocha, this could be a multithreading management issue: I still haven't re-installed my Mocha Pro and Continuum plugins.įYI, Boris responded and this is what they said to try: But then my system crashed so often with using the plugins that it corrupted Avid itself, and I had to re-install it. I did try doing that, and it seemed to help initially, though didn't completely solve the problem for me.
